On Feb. 10, the Cypriot government extended all remaining anti-covid restrictions until the very end of the month, CNA reports.
Although the epidemiological situation has significantly improved, it was decided to wait with further easing of the regime until March. Experts need time to dynamically assess the impact of already introduced easing on the incidence of coronavirus and hospital load.
So, for now, Cypriots will still have a curfew from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and an SMS request for permission to leave home. Catering still does not serve guests – only take-away and delivery. Nightclubs, entertainment centers and discos do not work, mass events and demonstrations are prohibited.
