A teenage biker broke his spine on the track
An accident happened last Sunday on a motocross circuit near the village of Makounta, Paphos province – as reported by Reporter, the 14-year-old rider lost control of his car, flew off the track and crashed into a 29-year-old spectator.
An ambulance took both victims to the central hospital of Paphos. The teenager was diagnosed with a fracture of the spine and the decision was made to transfer the patient to the capital’s hospital due to the gravity of the condition.
The spectator was not seriously injured and received first aid on the spot.
