A cleaning lady is suspected of stealing 70000 euros from a pensioner in Panagia
Paphos police have detained a 34 year old woman on suspicion of stealing a large sum of money from a pensioner in the village of Panagia, reports Reporter.
The 65 year old citizen told law enforcement authorities that 70000 euros in cash had been stolen from him. Policemen, after collecting information and evidence, suspected a 34-year-old woman, who was hired by the pensioner as a visiting cleaner, of stealing.
The suspect was placed in custody, and the police are investigating the fate of the stolen money.
