Police arrested a 40-year old local resident of Paphos – during a search in his house were found drugs and unlicensed drugs, as well as antique amphorae, reports Reporter.
The man was found and confiscated a little – about one and a half grams – of “pot”, half a gram of hashish, as well as 47 bottles and 60 capsules of medicines. In addition, he was found in possession of two clay amphorae, which the Department of Antiquities examined and found to be ancient.
As a result, the citizen was taken into custody pending investigation of his offenses. He was charged with possession of drugs with intent to use, importation and possession of drugs without a license, and illegal possession of antiquities.
