The Cypriot Ministry of Education and sponsors have bought almost 13,000 tablets for underprivileged children so that everyone has a chance to learn – especially in an era of pandemic and remote learning.
The ministry reportedly bought 8,536 tablets for needy pupils, with another 4,422 devices sponsored by charities.
Out of 12958 tablets, 2145 were given to primary school pupils, 3813 to gymnasium students, 1625 to lyceum students and the rest to students of technical colleges.
