Cypriot police reminds citizens: on the night of December 31 to January 1, the curfew in the country on the occasion of the holiday will not begin as usual, but later – at 1 am.

Law enforcers promise to be sympathetic to minor – 5-15 minutes – violations of the regime: the roads on the island are likely to be busy on New Year’s Eve.

After 1:00 a.m. on January 1, police checks will be intensified – first of all, policemen will respond to specific reports from citizens on violations of “coronavirus” decrees of the Ministry of Health. Recall, since yesterday, the authorities have banned Cypriots to go as guests – the exception is made only for the New Year’s Eve, and that in the same house or apartment can be a maximum of 10 people, members of no more than two families.
