Multinational multi-disciplinary exercise “MEDUSA 2020” started today, in which Cyprus takes part together with Greece, Egypt, France and the United Arab Emirates, as reported by the Cypriot Ministry of Defense.

Exercises “MEDUSA 2020” have a class “water – air”, will be held in the Egyptian water area and will last until December 6. It is reported that they will study objects of search and rescue operations, electronic warfare, surface exercises and naval forces.

Marine and aviation exercises “MEDUSA” are held since 2017 as part of the tripartite cooperation between Cyprus, Greece and Egypt in the field of defense and security. This year, this cooperation will be significantly strengthened, as for the first time it will involve forces from France and the UAE.
